When does a course have the indication "Try it for free"

TalentLMS lets you share specific courses with registered or non-registered users through a public URL. When a course is shared, users see it on the course catalog with the indication “Try it for free”.

Note: This option is available in paid plans only.

To offer users a free course through a public URL, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as Instructor and go to a course page.

Note: Courses that already have a price cannot be shared.

2. Click the More symbol and, from the drop-down list, choose Share.

A public URL is generated, which you can use for inviting registered or non-registered users either through the Invite function or by emailing them directly. Anyone with the public URL can access and complete the course.

Note: Non-registered users have to register after completion for their course progress to be recorded.

To disable the public URL for your course, just click the more symbol and choose Remove public access (1).
