How can I restrict product communication from Administrators and Instructors?

Note: Restricting TalentLMS communications is part of the “Remove TalentLMS branding” feature, which is available on Pro and Enterprise plans. You can upgrade your plan to access it. Read here for more info!

In TalentLMS, you have the option to control which users receive product information and announcements regarding new features and products from Epignosis. By default, these communications are enabled for all SuperAdmins, Administrators, and Instructors.
If you want, you can restrict sending these messages by disabling the TalentLMS communications feature. 

How to enable or disable TalentLMS communications:

1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account as an Administrator and go to Account & Settings > Portal (1).

2. Scroll down to the TalentLMS branding section and enable or disable the Restrict TalentLMS communications (2) option.

3. Click Save (3) to save your changes.

Note: When TalentLMS communication is disabled, each user (SuperAdmins, Administrators, and Instructors) will be asked to give their consent through a pop-up before receiving important announcements. If it’s enabled, users will not receive this pop-up and won't have the option to opt in or out of receiving communications.

How to manage Consent to Product Communications:

When users first log in, they are presented with a pop-up where they can choose to receive product communications by clicking Yes, I agree (1). 

Note: This option is not presented to Learners.

If you want to change this option later, you can always do so from your profile:

1. Sign in to your TalentLMS account and go to My Profile (1).

2. Scroll down to the Email and notification settings section to enable or disable the I agree to receive product information and announcements of new features and products from Epignosis (2) option. 

3. Click Save changes (3) to update your selection.

Note: Consent for receiving product communications is on by default and can only be disabled manually. This ensures that only Administrators and Instructors can opt to receive important announcements about new features and products from Epignosis within TalentLMS.
